I feel compelled to urge women not to reveal anything too personal in the What Would Virginia Wolf Do Facebook group. The group is only private in theory. The moderators do not screen members. All one needs to join is a bare-bones Facebook page. You don’t need a photo or to have any relevant details filled out. They let in pretty much anyone.I have seen screenshots of conversations posted in other forums. Given how gossipy many of the members are and how quick they are to expose intimate details of the lives of women they call friends, I would never post anything of a sensitive or personal nature in this group. It’s poorly moderated and is an overall toxic environment full of women obsessed with their looks and with men.
